Garbage sorting and disposal

Sorting and disposing your garbage correctly is important in several ways; for environmental reasons, to comply with Sollentuna municipality regulations, and last but not least to minimize the garbage fees for all members in Vaxmora community. Small bins in our parking lots

• Food waste: Always use the brown paper bags (never plastic bags) provided by the municipality. You find them in the bicycle rooms in our garages. To avoid leakage make sure your food waste is as dry as possible, use double bags don´t overfill and close them properly.

Recycle station by the bus stop

• These containers accepts newspapers and PACKAGING MATERIAL made of plastic, glass or metal which shall be cleaned and sorted in the appropriate containers.
• Other materials (like garden waste, textiles, electronics, construction materials etc) or non-packaging items (for example toys, flower pots, kitchenware and more) should not be disposed here and instead should be brought to a Recycling station, closest one is Hagby ÅVC: https://www.sorab.se/start/hushall/vara-anlaggningar/hagby-avc-taby/

Large bins in our parking lots

• Remaining waste from your household, contained in a plastic bag to keep the bins cleaner longer.

Note that we pay per kilo for everything disposed in the bins in our parking lots so please use the recycle stations as much as possible.
